BANGALORE, Nov 12 (Reuters) - The following corporate finance-related stories were reported by media on Thursday:
* A Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L) consortium will make a A$1.5 billion ($1.4 billion) bid for Australian investment firm Babcock & Brown Infrastructure (BBI) (BBI.AX), taking aim at a rival Canadian proposal, the Australian Financial Review said. [ID:nSYD473744]
* Newbridge Capital [NB.UL], investor George Soros, and Nomura Holdings (8604.T) have been approached by Chinese banks interested in their stakes in Taishin Financial (2887.TW) in a sale that could be worth T$30 billion ($923 million), the Commercial Times reported. [ID:nTP329108]
