France's Vivendi buys 37.9 pct stake in Brazil GVT
SAO PAULO, Nov 13 (Reuters) - France's Vivendi (VIV.PA) said on Friday that it has bought 37.9 percent of Brazilian telecom company GVT (GVTT3.SA) and has irrevocable options to buy another 19.6 percent of the company.
Spain's Telefonica (TEF.MC) had also bid for the Brazilian company.
