Nov 5 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 0400 GMT on Thursday.

** With China's President Hu Jintao visiting Malaysia next week, speculation is swirling that the Malaysian government may finally seal a deal to sell 10 percent of planter Sime Darby (SIME.KL) to a Chinese group.
